Last Friday Stage 3 visited the V8 Supercars. IN 40 DEGREE HEAT!  Wowza, we pretty much melted. On the train from Kingswood to Homebush bay for the Sydney Telstra 500 ‘Students On Track’ day. With Miss B and her swollen ankle.

We had such a great day, despite sweating for about 4 hours straight. We all enjoyed seeing the cars zooming around the track and seeing the action in the pits, seeing the rescue simulation and playing in the playground. Lots of liquids were consumed, and for some – Hot Tabasco Sauce!  We were all thankful for some cool sheltered indoor car shows. Very thankful for the misty fountain spray. ETERNALLY THANKFUL to Miss B and the other teachers for letting everyone completely cool off in the fountain!

The cars speed around the track extremely fast and at times were quite loud!

  1. Miss B,

V8’s were awesome, although it was hot and everyone sweated. It was really fun because of the way we all were laughing and enjoying our self. Milos is sick – tabasco sauce! Seriously!
