The 8 techniques I remember are: Exaggeration (the drama queen), The Repeater, Colloquial Language, Modality Language, Emotive Language, Technical Language, Rhetorical Questions, Modal verbs, Evaluative Language, Connectives and Conjunctions and Fact and Distortion. These are very helpful and useful ways of writing!

Here are some types of techniques for persuasive writing:
Exaggeration ( or the drama queen effect), Fancy language, Fact and Distortion, Modality and modal verbs, Technical language, Emotive language, Rhetorical Question, Colloquial language, Evaluative language and connectives and conjunctions.
These are all really fun to learn and I love to write using these techniques!

Some techniques are: Fact and Distortion, Technical Language, Fancy Language, Colloquial Language, Rhetorical Questions, Emotive Language, Evaluative Language,Modality, 3xrule, Exaggeration, Connectives and Conjunctions! These can be very handy in NAPLAN.

You should at least use a bit of fact and distortion and fancy language in your persuasive text.
Here are some other great writing techniques: Colloquial language, rhetorical questions, connectives and conjunctions,
technical language, evaluative language and I really think you should definitely use emotive language!
To exhort somebody you should at least use 3 of these techniques!
