Last Wednesday was our Education Week Open Day. We began the day with open classrooms and invited parents and visitors into our classroom to watch our Morning Routine.

Next we had our special Open Day assembly, followed by a hot dog picnic lunch. Year 6 sold drinks to raise money for their farewell.

After lunch was our Olympathon. We participated in many Olympic sports including high jump, rhythmic gymnastics, hockey and shot put. We also collected sponsors to fundraise for this event.

Finally we were all set to have some sessions with Cricket Australia and the Greater Western Sydney Giants AFL team. Alas, we were hit with a freak hail storm so had to abandon that plan!  Asides from the weather, a great day had by all.

What did your school do for education week?

What was your favourite part of Open Day?

  1. Hi, Miss B

The school Olympathon was great. I had a lot of fun and the events were very funny. Especially the high jump. It was very low and people were gliding over it.
