Miss Beavis visited the famous Inca ruins of Machu Picchu, high in the cloud forest of the Andes mountains. It is certainly a magical place and a bit of a mystery!

Did you know that Machu Picchu lay hidden from most of the world for hundreds of years?

This city of stone will make a great landscape artwork, and this time let’s use watercolours!

Travel sketch artist, Candace Rose Rardon travelled to Machu Picchu and did some sketches on the spot, wow! Check out her work here.

Here are some of Miss B’s photos to inspire us.

We can draw the mountains and buildings – or you can use Miss B’s template. Then its up to you to add the watercolours, lots of greens, blues and greys!

Remember, darker colours require LESS WATER. More blended, lighter colours need MORE WATER.
